$3.81 million budget goes to Oxford voters


OXFORD — Selectmen last week signed the town warrant scheduling the annual town meeting to see if voters will approve a $3.81 million budget for fiscal year 2014-15.

On paper voters are being asked to raise $531,013 – 16 percent – more than last year, though town Manager Michael Chammings said the increases are being offset by revenue captured in the Tax Increment Financing District, sewer system users fees, and casino taxes…
